Savitri & Madhavi are busy in preparing the list of guests for her son's naming ceremony. When Madhavi refers to Manasi as the 'other woman' in Shyam's life, Savitri laughs it off by admitting she admires Manasi's courage for changing men in rapid succession in her life as well as living life on her own terms. Madhavi cautions Savitri that in case Shyam overheard her he wouldn't hesitate to throw her out of her house. But Savitri's reply leaves Shyam shell-shocked-she opines that he can't ever throw her out as the flat is in her name. The naming ceremony is delayed by Shyam & almost threatens to turn into a wrestling bout between Manasi & Sushma. Shyam stuns Savitri & Madhavi by finalizing the name steeped in controversy'Satish. Savitri has little choice but accept it just as she accepts his decision to take her back to their house after only a day's gap. College campus is brewing with rumours of teachers going on strike during exams to press for their demands but Shyam is dead against the very concept. Yet, after confirming he will come to pick up Savitri & Satish by 9pm, Shyam rings at the last moment claiming he has an urgent appointment with the Principal of his college & they need to postpone their departure. But, Savitri has a gut feeling that Shyam has changed drastically & seeks Madhavi's blessings before shifting to her house that very night.
